Project Overview
Marriott Vashi sought to create a hospitality environment where technology seamlessly enhanced guest experiences while remaining intuitive for hotel operations. SI delivered a fully integrated enterprise-grade audiovisual solution supporting meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, social events and daily operations.
The project encompassed banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, the lobby, pre-function areas and public spaces, establishing a unified AV infrastructure across the property. The solution integrated professional audio, laser projection, digital signage, centralized audio distribution, intelligent room control and HDBaseT-based signal transmission to ensure consistent performance and ease of operation.
Designed with enterprise-class technologies from globally recognized manufacturers, the system delivers superior audio-visual performance, reliability, scalability and operational efficiency. Through meticulous engineering, precision installation, comprehensive testing, commissioning and user training, SI created a future-ready AV platform that enhances venue management while delivering a premium and consistent guest experience.
What did the client want to achieve?
Marriott Vashi sought a unified audiovisual infrastructure that would enhance guest experiences while simplifying hotel operations. The objective was to create a standardized, intelligent AV platform across banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, public spaces, and event venues to support corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and social events.
The client required an easy-to-operate solution that delivered consistent audio, video, digital signage, and background music while meeting Marriott’s global hospitality standards. High reliability, minimal downtime, centralized management, and seamless operation were essential to ensure efficient event execution by hotel staff.
The platform was designed with future scalability in mind, allowing technology upgrades without major infrastructure changes. By implementing an integrated enterprise-grade AV ecosystem, SI enabled Marriott Vashi to improve operational efficiency, enhance venue flexibility, and deliver a consistent premium guest experience across the property.
Scope of work your company was involved in
We delivered the complete audiovisual solution for Marriott Vashi, including supply, installation, integration, programming, testing, commissioning, training, and handover. The implementation covered banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, the lobby, pre-function areas, and public spaces.
The scope included professional background music, laser projection systems, motorized screens, digital signage, presentation systems, wired and wireless microphones, DSP-based audio processing, network amplifiers, centralized AV control, HDBaseT signal distribution, equipment racks, and structured AV cabling.
We coordinated with the client, consultants, architects, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution. Following commissioning, user training, technical documentation, and warranty support were provided, delivering a reliable, scalable, and easy-to-operate AV platform that enhances guest experiences and supports Marriott Vashi’s day-to-day hospitality and event operations.
What key challenges were faced?
The Marriott Vashi project required delivering a unified audiovisual experience across banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, lobby areas, and public spaces, each with unique operational and acoustic requirements. The challenge was to maintain consistent performance, ease of operation, and compliance with Marriott’s hospitality standards across all venues.
A key technical challenge was integrating projection, professional audio, digital signage, background music, HDBaseT signal distribution, and centralized control into a single, interoperable platform using equipment from multiple international OEMs. This demanded careful system engineering, interface validation, and comprehensive testing.
Ballroom and event spaces required optimized audio coverage, high-quality visual presentation, and reliable source switching to support conferences, weddings, and social events. Extensive audio tuning and system optimization ensured consistent performance across varying room sizes and acoustics.
Successful execution also depended on close coordination with architects, interior contractors, MEP teams, and the client to align installation with construction activities, avoid rework, and deliver a reliable, high-quality AV solution within project timelines.
How were those challenges resolved?
SI adopted a structured implementation approach combining detailed planning, stakeholder coordination, and rigorous system validation. Installation activities were synchronized with architects, consultants, interior contractors, and MEP teams to ensure smooth execution while minimizing rework.
The engineering team configured and integrated multiple international OEM technologies, validating firmware compatibility, HDBaseT signal transmission, control programming, and end-to-end system performance. Professional audio systems were optimized through DSP tuning to deliver clear, consistent sound across banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, and public spaces.
Each area underwent comprehensive testing, commissioning, and user acceptance to verify functionality and compliance with Marriott’s operational standards. Detailed documentation, user manuals, test reports, and warranty information were provided during handover.
To ensure long-term reliability, SI conducted hands-on training for the hotel’s engineering and operations teams, enabling confident day-to-day management of meetings, conferences, banquets, and hospitality events with minimal technical support.
How has your work helped the client?
The integrated audiovisual platform has enhanced Marriott Vashi’s ability to deliver premium hospitality experiences across banquet halls, meeting rooms, restaurants, lobby areas, and public spaces. By combining professional audio, background music, digital signage, presentation systems, and centralized AV control, SI created a reliable and easy-to-operate AV infrastructure.
The solution has improved operational efficiency by simplifying event setup, source selection, and day-to-day system management, enabling hotel staff to confidently support conferences, meetings, weddings, and social events with minimal technical assistance. Consistent audio-visual performance has enhanced guest experiences while reducing operational complexity.
Enterprise-grade technologies, comprehensive commissioning, and user training have improved system reliability, reduced maintenance requirements, and empowered Marriott’s engineering team to manage the AV infrastructure independently. The scalable design also provides the flexibility to accommodate future technology upgrades, ensuring long-term value while supporting Marriott Vashi’s commitment to world-class hospitality and event excellence.
What are you most proud of about the project?
We are most proud of transforming Marriott Vashi’s diverse hospitality spaces into a single, intelligent, and fully integrated audiovisual ecosystem. Instead of deploying standalone AV systems, we delivered a standardized platform that provides consistent performance and intuitive operation across meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and social events.
A key achievement was the seamless integration of multiple international OEM technologies while meeting Marriott’s high standards for quality, aesthetics, and operational excellence. Through meticulous engineering, precision installation, comprehensive testing, and commissioning, the project was delivered successfully with minimal disruption.
The result is a reliable, scalable, and future-ready AV platform that empowers Marriott’s operations team to manage events with confidence while delivering a premium guest experience. This project reflects our commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and delivering world-class hospitality technology solutions.
